WiB Meeting in Dublin
The first 2014 Women in Badminton working group meeting was held in Dublin, Ireland just a day after 2014 BEC Annual Delegates Meeting and Awards Gala.
The group followed up on the IWD Networking Breakfast, held by the WiB group on 9 March 2014 during the All England, in Birmingham. The group has made a research on the current women in badminton situation in Europe, the results been presented during the meeting. Talking about new strategies on how to get more projects involved for the next years’ WiB Awards, were also part of the discussion.
The most important point of the agenda was the 2nd WiB Coaching Conference which will be held in July 2014 in Vejen Denmark alongside the BEC Summer School. The preparation already started, the group is working hard to organize an at least as successful event as last summer.
