From 14 to 18 February, the Sports Arena in Łódź, Poland, will become a battleground where Europe's top players compete for the European Men’s and Women’s Team Championships titles. Held every two years, this event will now celebrate its ninth edition, returning to Poland for the second time and promising a wonderful spectacle of our continent’s finest.

A storied competition
Launched 18 years ago, the European Men's & Women's Team Championships have become a key event in the European calendar. Denmark, a powerhouse in our sport, aims to continue its unparalleled success. With both their men's and women's teams as the reigning champions, Denmark's dominance is undisputed — maintaining an unbroken winning streak in the men's category and securing the last four editions in the women's competition, where battles have been fiercely competitive.

The Danish squads have top-tier talent but so do the rival nations as they are closing in. France, fresh from a commendable performance at the European Mixed Team Championships, poses a formidable challenge with their balanced and in-form teams.

Germany, despite missing key players, Fabian Roth and Mark Lamsfuss, remain a strong contender thanks to a blend of experience and emerging talent. Their men's team, placed in Group 1 alongside Denmark, is set for an exciting clash on the first day of the tournament.

In the women's event, last year's bronze medalists, Scotland, along with Spain — led by star Carolina Marin — and other prominent teams, make the women's fight intriguing. Türkiye's squad, known for their resilience, adds to the mix of teams aiming for glory.
