The Qualification Stage for the 2024 European Men’s & Women’s Team Championships comes to an end. Now we have the full lineup for the main event in Lodz, Poland, from 14 to 18 February. Let's dive into the highlights of the closing day.

England
The excitement continued in Men’s Group 5 after England’s successful qualification from Group 3. Today, the spotlight was on the winners of the subgroups, Ukraine and Belgium. It was a captivating three-game duel, with Ukraine ultimately sealing the deal with a 3-1 victory over Belgium.


Czech Republic
In Prague, the home team faced Azerbaijan in a fiercely contested team match. With the first three matches extending to three games, the Czech Republic secured their qualification with a solid 3-1 win, with Ondřej Král/ Adam Mendrek concluding a challenging day of tough matches with a win in straight games.


France
In Men's Group 1, France clashed with Italy for the coveted qualification, both teams having dominated the group. France emerged victorious unbeaten, claiming five wins and securing their spot in the main event.


Bulgaria
Women’s Group 5 witnessed an intense battle between Bulgaria and Türkiye. The match leveled at 2-2, leading to a three-game decider between Bulgaria’s Mariya Mitsova/Kaloyana Nalbantova and Türkiye’s Yasemen Bektaş/Zehra Erdem. Türkiye emerged as the winners, earning qualification from the group.


Netherlands
In Women's Group 6, Netherlands faced Hungary in a close clash, securing a 3-2 victory. The Dutch team showcased resilience, coming back from 2-0 down to clinch the deciding match and secure their qualification.


Germany
The Qualification Stage concluded in Bad Camberg as the last location with matches being played. In the battle for qualification in Men’s Group 2, Germany faced a challenging 0-2 deficit against Finland but staged a remarkable comeback, winning three consecutive matches to secure their spot in the main event. What a thrilling conclusion to the Qualification Stage, setting the stage for an epic main event in February!"
