Latvia International 2020 will be the first elite tournament to be played since the All England Open 2020 in March.
The tournament will take place Jelgava, Latvia from 28th to 30th of August.
The live streaming will begin at 17.00 CEST on Friday 28th of August.
General Secretary, Brian Agerbak, is happy that live badminton is back again.
- I am very happy about it. It is fantastic to be back, and I am happy for the players to be able to play again. I see it as a bit of a test. I know it is difficult to set up an event in these times. At lot of measures have been taken by Latvia and organizers to enable this tournament to take place. Many players still can’t travel, or they will be caught up with restrictions when they get back home. But I am very happy that we can see some live badminton on our channels now.
