Last week, Carolina Marin suffered an injury, preparing for the DANISA Denmark Open.

After losing in the first round of the DANISA Denmark Open, the World Champion hopes to play in France next week.

The European fans hope to see the 'Badminton Queen' of Europe in the European venues, and  Marin hopes she will be ready to play at the French Open in Paris next week.

- I hope I can play in France. I did not know, I could play this week. I was unlucky I got this injury last week and I could not practice so much, Marin told Badminton Europe.

Wanting to recover
The French Open 2018 kicks off on Tuesday, and the World Champion needs to rest before going to Paris.

- Sometimes when you are feeling like this, it is hard to believe in yourself on court.

- I just want to recover so my left arm gets better.
