Badminton Europe is going to support ten Regional projects in 2016. The programme is running since 2008 and Badminton has supported more than 75 projects in the last 8 years. The focus of the Regional Projects programme is to encourage Member Associations to collaborate. Together they should form a development initiative to enhance the level of badminton in their region. The focus of the Regional Projects should be on the national junior players and should involve a minimum of 3 different nations. The aim is to develop Member Associations by encouraging and supporting international cooperation.
The ten regional projects are going to be organized by the badminton Federations of France, Sweden, Serbia, Germany, Iceland, Portugal, Lithuania, Georgia, Albania and Belgium.
