The Badminton Europe Women in Badminton (WIB) working group had their first meeting of 2014 on Sunday the 13th of April following the BEC Gala Awards. Amongst other issues discussed during the meeting there was a review of the networking breakfast the WIB had held for International Women's Day, the need to increase communication about the WIB activities and planning began for the second WIB coaching conference to be held later this year during the 2014 BEC Summer School in Vejen, Denmark.

The WIB also welcomed the new President of Badminton Europe Gregory Verpoorten and the new Director for Development Jean-Marc Serfaty to the meeting and thank them for their active contributions.
