Updated rankings ahead of MINSK 2019

Ahead of the European Games in Minsk, the rankings are out for this week and a lot of the players listed will be in Copenhagen for the European Mixed Team Championships.

If you have not got your tickets for next week, you can do so via ticketmaster.dk to make sure that you are in Copenhagen to watch the stars of your sport.

In the Men's Singles, Viktor Axelsen is in pole position to qualify, while French star Brice Leverdez, England’s Rajiv Ouseph and Mark Caljouw from the Netherlands are all in a comfortable position.

For Women's Singles, Carolina Marin is in the first place to qualify but as she is currently injured, Marin is in doubt of making the Games in June. Also fighting up at the top is Denmark’s Mia Blichfeldt while Line Kjærsfeldt is just outside the top 20 but still in a good position. England’s Chloe Birch is inside the top 50 going into next week’s EMTC.

In Men's Doubles, the Danish deadly duo Kim Astrup/Anders Skaarup Rasmussen is currently in the first spot for the qualification as well as England’s Marcus Ellis and Chris Langridge.

For the Women's Doubles, the Stoeva sisters are top of the rankings with Danish pair Maiken Fruergaard/Sar Thygesen also close to the top, the latter head to Copenhagen next week for the EMTC.

The Mixed Doubles is being dominated by two England couples. Chris and Gabrielle Adcock are in the best position to qualify, sitting seventh in the rankings while Marcus Ellis and Lauren Smith are close behind in the seventh position in the rankings.
