Estonia won against Ireland – tomorrow a big task awaits
They are one of the smaller teams, but the Estonian team at the 2020 European Women’s Team Championships can celebrate tonight. Estonia beat Ireland 4-1 in their opening tie at the championships.
The Estonians were off to the perfect start winning the three women’s singles and after just 12 minutes of break Kate-Kreet Marran was back on court winning the first women’s doubles alongside her partner, Kristin Kuuba.
- We had good fun today. The intension was to win, and we did, so we are really happy, Marran said.
The goal was to beat Ireland
On Wednesday Estonia will be facing the Netherlands and then will play the top seeds from Denmark on Thursday.
- We have a very tough match tomorrow against the Netherlands and then Denmark Kristin Kuuba said.
- Our goal was to win one tie, and so we did. Now we are just going to enjoy the next days and show our game,
