In 2017 Denmark won the European U17 Team Championships title. Now, two years later, they are ready to defend it.

Of course a lot of eyes are on the Danish team. Denmark has won the European U17 Team Championships title seven times in a row, and the Danish talents expect to do good this week in Poland.

- I think we have a good chance of winning. We know there are some good teams here, so we have to play at our best level. But if we can do that, I think we can win the title, Victor Kauffmann said.

5-0 victory
Denmark won their opening tie against Bulgaria 5-0. Kauffmann won the men’s doubles alongside Mads Juel Moeller in straight games against Stivan Nikolaev/Evgeni Panev.

- We played a good match. I sticked to the plan, so that was good. We arrived pretty late yesterday, but it did not affect the match today, Kauffmann said.

- The game plan was to find the court and play with good length. I think we did that well, Moeller added.
