The second day of the German Open 2019 is over, which means the start of the main draw in all events. Yesterday was a disappointing day for Mark Lamsfuss and Marvin Seidel (Germany) as they both lost their first round mixed doubles match. Today they were totally able to make up for that loss up in men’s doubles.

Milasz Bochot and Adam Cwalina (Poland) were their opponents for today. With a straight 21-15 21-15 win, Lamsfuss and Seidel did not experience much trouble.

- It was a solid match today. We know how to play against these two and we felt confident on court. Lamsfuss told Badminton Europe after their match

- I am really looking forward to play against Ong/Teo from Malaysia!

Enough to see

Besides Lamsfuss and Seidel, Yvonne Li reached in women’s singles also the second round! A good reason for the German audience to come watch the matches, to great pleasure for Lamsfuss.

- We love to play here in Germany! Lamsfuss continued!

- Hopefully there will be a lot of spectators tomorrow!
