This week we will treat you to an exclusive podcast chat with two Danish Women that you will know very well, Mia Blichfeldt and Line Kjærsfeldt.
The two visited the BEC studio and spoke to our on-screen presenter Rasmus Bech, the communications manager of Badminton Europe.
Going in the right direction
Blichfeldt, who knocked the European number one, Carolina Marin out of the Denmark Open revealed the feeling that she had, beating one of the world’s best.
- It was amazing, actually that I had won a set. When I won the first I was really happy and just kept telling myself that I can do it, Mia Blichfeldt said at the BEC Podcast.
- I just had to keep the plan and keep the speed in my legs, when we went into the last part, it was crazy! She added.
Opponents being a team
Kjærsfeldt, who managed to get all the way to the quarterfinals in the Denmark Open believes that all of the players who are training together need each other in practice, despite them being opponents on court.
- We need each other in training, we need to press each other to improve our game, we have found a really good way with dealing with the situations, Line Kjærsfeldt told the BEC Podcast.
- We don’t have someone like us who is really good, we are working together to get to the best in the world and to beat them, she continued.
The Podcast will be out for all to watch tomorrow morning (Wednesday) at 9 AM on all platforms, stay tuned because you won’t want to miss it!
