Many europeans gearing up for the Olympics were taken to task at Fort Worth, Texas when they were playing the first round of the YONEX US Open 2024 yesterday.
Day 1
Sean Vendy & Ben Lane, the Grimley Brothers, Andreas Søndergaard & Jesper Toft, the Sjoo Sisters, Isabel Lohau & Thuc Phuong Nguyen all managed to progess to the Round of 16. They faced opponents from North and South America as well as asian opponents.
Day 2
On Day 2 we have the likes of Jan Louda, Kirsty Gilmour, Joakim Oldorff, Nhat Nguyen, Arnaud Merkle, Alex Lanier, Kristin Kuuba, and Fabian Roth. They will all be looking to join their european compatriots to the round of 16 with a victory of todays match.
