Andreja Turk, 26, from Slovenia is the new Finance and Administration Manager at Badminton Europe.
Andreja Turk joined the Badminton Europe office in Brondby, Denmark on August 1st and in her opinion she has been off to a good start:
- I look forward to getting to know all my colleagues - so far they have all made my start at BEC very enjoyable. I am looking forward to growing professionally and of course have fun at the same time, Turk said.
Master’s degree in Management
The 26-year-old Slovene has been based in Copenhagen for one and a half year after finishing her studies in Slovenia.
- I have a master´s degree in Management in Public Administration from the University of Ljubljana, which has given me the personal tools necessary to do administrative work like this, Turk stated.
Experience from Deloitte
Andreja Turk knows badminton from her early days in primary school and as a spectator, so there was no doubt when the job advert from Badminton Europe caught her attention.
- This job really spoke to me because it gave me a chance to work with both something that I have experience working with as well as giving me the opportunity to learn and try something new, Turk said.
- I have previously worked at Deloitte in Slovenia, where I was responsible for our partner companies’ yearly reports, as well as working at different finance companies, she added.
