With the European Championships going on this week in Huelva, Spain, the BWF World Ranking list presents this week’s ranking changes.
Sam Parsons (England) has climbed two spots up to occupy position no. 66.
-I have put in a lot of hard work to get to where I am today and look forward to putting more hard work in to be able to improve my ranking further, Parsons tells Badminton Europe and adds
-In the near future I am looking to be able to break into the top 60 and eventually top 50 in the world rankings with my end aspirations to try and become a top 10 ranked player in the world by the time I end my badminton career.

Singles players climbing up
Kirsty Gilmour (Scotland) has moved one spot up on the women’s singles world ranking list, currently occupying position no. 17, three positions away from her career-best result.
Denmark’s Line Kjaersfeldt and Natalia Koch Rohde have both climbed one position up, standing on no. 31 and no. 35 respectively.
Mark Caljouw (The Netherlands) needs to get one more position up to enter the top 30 on the men’s singles world ranking list. Denmark’s Rasmus Gemke is confidently following him on position no. 32, having climbed four spots compared to last week.

Doubles moving to top 20
Marcus Ellis/Chris Langridge (England) have climbed two spots up to get into top 20 on the men’s doubles world ranking list.
Mathias Christiansen/David Daugaard (Denmark) moved two spots up, occupying position no. 22.
Jacco Arends/Selena Piek (The Netherlands) are one spot up,standing on position no. 18 on the mixed doubles world ranking list. MarkLamsfuss/Isabel Herttrich (Germany) are following them on position no. 19. The last pair on top 20 is Russia’s Evgenij Dremin/Evgenia Dimova.
