The world’s number one in men’s singles, Viktor Axelsen, are ready for the semifinals at Perodua Malaysia Masters after three games win against Jonathan Christie from Indonesia.

It was a close game, when the Danish world champion, Viktor Axelsen, passed into the semifinals at Perodua Malaysia Masters after winning in three games with 21-15/19-21/21-12.

In the third game Viktor Axelsen ruled the game and won 21-12, but the last stroke was hard for the Danish world champion, and he fell down on the ground with cramp. After the match Viktor Axelsen said that he was okay.

- It’s only because I came too far out to my left leg, and then it stretches a little bit and gives me a cramp in the lumbar muscle, said Viktor Axelsen to TV2 Sport Denmark after the match.

- I think it came, because I hadn’t drink enough, and then I had sweat a little bit more than I had estimated. Fortunately, there is control of it now, and there is nothing to be afraid of, ends the world champion to TV2 Sport.
