As part of the Badminton Administrative Support and Information Sharing programme (BASIS), Badminton Europe is now offering a position for an internship in its head office in Denmark.
BASIS has been developed by the Member Structure Commission in conjunction with the BEC office. BASIS has the overriding objective to help the Member Associations (MAs) to develop in the area of administration and aims to achieve this objective by providing multiple levels of support to the MAs.
Member Associations are invited to nominate candidates to join the BEC office in Brøndby, just outside Copenhagen, for a 2-months period, in order to help administrating and running the two important events; the BEC Congress and the 2018 European Championships.
The intern will work in the BEC Office alongside BEC’s full-time employees and assist with the day-to-day running of BEC, especially work relating to Major Events and Member Servicing around the BEC Congress and the European Championships. The intern will be presented to the various tasks around both events, that being administration, logistics, communication as well as onsite work.
March-May 2018
The internship is planned to last from 1 March to 1 May 2018. The selected intern is expected to arrive in Denmark with a first day in the office being on 1st March 2018. BEC will offer accommodations costs against actual expenditures, provide allowance, administrative costs, and any course, events and/or activities during the internship.
Applications must be made no later than 5th December 2017
All applications must be send through our Member Associations, so please contact your national badminton federation if you have interest in applying.
