Badminton Europe introduces for the first time ever, the ´Women in Badminton´ Scholarships Programme. This scholarships programme is designed for all the ladies who are involved in badminton. Whether you are a coach, technical official or an administrator, this scholarship is the perfect opportunity for you.
By the latest BEC statistics on the gender representation in badminton the most imbalanced areas are the coaches, the technical officials and the ADM participation, so the purpose of this initiative is to increase female representation in activities within Badminton Europe Confederation.
BEC created a programme that offers 20 scholarships of 500 € in the following 3 categories:
1.Participation in the BEC Summer School 2016
2.Participation in BEC Annual Delegates’ Meeting and Member’s Forum 2016
3.Technical Officials participation in the BEC Umpire Course in Kaunas, Lithuania
