The European U17 Championships will be held in Lubin, Poland from 17-25 March in the Regional Sport Centrum Hall. This tournament showcases the best European players below the age of seventeen. They will be competing for both the team and individual titles in this great hall with a capacity of 5,000 spectator seats, the same venue where the 2015 European Junior Championships was held.

´We are very excited about the preparation and delivery of this event because this year we will see the largest number of participation in the history of the European U17 Team Championships. 33 teams will be competing in Lubin and I can promise you that it will be a great week with lots of exciting matches. Last year we saw a superb event organization from the enthusiastic team in Lubin – and I am sure this year’s European U17 Championships will not disappoint anyone going there or who will follow it from behind the screens´, explained Jimmy Andersen, BEC Senior Manager who has been the main person in charge of all the European Championships events delivery for nine years.

The team draw will be conducted on 26 January while the individual draw will be conducted on 8 March in the BEC Office in Brøndby, Denmark. Both draws will then be published on the BEC official platforms. So stay tuned! The team event will take place from 17-21 March, followed by the individual events from 21-25 March.
