Getting ready for the EU17C in Vilnius

The 2023 European U17 Championships will be held in Vilnius, Lithuania, from 4 to 12 August. The draw of the group stage will be streamed live on badmintoneurope.tv next Monday, 24 July at 11:00 CEST. 

This tournament will feature two events right after one another - the team event will be happening on the first days (4 to 8 August), and then the week will finish with the individual event (8 to 12 August).

This year, 35 countries entered the team event, and they will be divided into eight different groups: five groups of four teams, and three groups of five teams.  

Here is the list of seeded teams for each group: 

1. France 
2. Ukraine 
3. Türkiye 
4. Czech Republic 
5. Denmark 
6. Poland 
7. Romania 
8. Spain 

Belgium, England, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, Portugal, and Switzerland are also seeded, and will be drawn in the second position of each group. 

The remaining teams will also be drawn into the eight groups in random order. To watch the draw of the group stage live, check badminotneurope.tv on Monday, 24 July at 11:00 CEST.
