Action from the VICTOR Swedish Open 2022 in Dublin begins today. Here is how to watch the matches live.

In 2021, the Swedish Open was cancelled, but it is back with a bang this year.

Reigning champions from 2020:
MS: Victor Svendsen (DEN)
WS: Natsuki Nidaira (JPN)
MD: Chiang Chien-wei/ Ye Hong-wei (TPE)
WD: Julie Finne-Ipsen/ Mai Surrow (DEN)
XD: Yujiro Nishikawa/ Saori Ozaki (JPN)

This year
Sadly the number one seed and home favourite, Felix Burestedt, was forced to withdraw due to food poisoning. However, this gives an opportunity to the large chasing pack. Germany's Kai Schaefer is looking to start the year well as second seed but has many young talents keen to impress to contend with.

Dutch and Centre of Excellence players, Gayle Mahulette is the number one seed in the women's singles. Reaching the quarterfinals of the Scottish Open in November last year, she hopes for a deep run again in Sweden.

One of the top chances for Swedish success comes in the women's doubles with the third seeds Johanna Magnusson/ Clara Nistad. The 2021 Dutch Open champions will look to impress again at home.
