As is clear to see on social media, the players that have made the long journey to Bali, Indonesia, are enjoying their time in the sun before the Indonesia Masters, Indonesian Open and World Tour Finals. Here is what they have been saying.

Among the more than 17,000 islands in Indonesia, Bali shines brightest. In the middle of the 'ring of fire', it is a holiday hotspot due to its idyllic beaches, captivating cultural scene and natural beauty. The players are in a badminton paradise. 

It was an exceptionally long trip. But the welcoming was very nice and friendly in Indonesia. I am looking forward to the tournament, but first I will have to catch up on some sleep.

The journey wasn’t like anything I’d experienced before as this is my first time in Asia and although it was tiring it was totally worth it to be here and part of this experience.

I cannot say enough good things about the organisation of our travel by the staff here and we received such a warm welcome. The environment is absolutely 10/10 and we are being completely supported and given the best opportunity to perform and enjoy our time here.

But it's been a good journey so far, really impressive what BWF and hosts have been able to do for us here!

We'll have a late arrival to Bali, but we're here in plenty of time to acclimatise and get used to a little paradise! We arrived and had our PCR, immigration and a hotel taken care of for the few hours between flights. They even gave us a sim card; they've certainly done everything to make it smooth for us! 

I really like Bali. From Bulgaria, where it is now two degrees, coming to the hot weather is perfect. We can relax and don’t need to wear our winter clothes. 

We’ve been playing volleyball in the pool. The weather is lovely and I love Indonesian food. I’ve really missed it.
