The reigning champions from Denmark will be facing Cyprus, Romania and Luxembourg in the group stage.
At 14.00 CET, the draw for the 2021 European U17 Team Championships was conducted at the Badminton Europe office, and some interesting ties will be seen already in the group stage.
The tournament kicks off on Friday 3 September in the city of Podcetrtek, Slovenia with action from six courts. All courts can be streamed live at the Badminton Europe streaming platform, www.badmintoneurope.tv.
Denmark again?
The Russians top seeds will be facing Lithuania, Netherlands and Hungary in Group 1.
France, seeded second, was joined by the host, Slovenia, Scotland and Ireland in Group 2.
Denmark, who has won the title at the last eight championships, was drawn into the same group as Cyprus, Romania and Luxembourg.
The other ¾-seeded team, Poland, will be facing Croatia, Belgium and Sweden in the group stage.
The 2019 bronze medallists, Ukraine, will be facing big challenges playing Germany, England and Norway in the group stage.
