A new year is here and hopefully, it will be a year with great tournaments, events and activities.

2021 European Mixed Team Championships

In February eight teams are ready to fight for medals in Finland. The hosts, Denmark, England, Russia, Netherlands, Scotland, Germany and France are qualified for the final stage, and some very interesting matches await.

2021 European Championships & BEC Congress

The European top players had to do without the 2020 European Championships, but in 2021 we will once again get the chance to crown the Champions of European badminton when players travel to Kyiv, Ukraine in April. For the first time, the BEC Congress will take place at the same place and the same time – as the Badminton Festival awaits us.

Sudirman Cup

In 2021 we will have the World Championships for men’s and women teams as well as the World Championships for mixed teams. This year it will be held in Suzhou, China. Are you ready for the best countries in the world to fight for the title of the world’s best mixed team? We are!

2021 European Senior Championships
The European Senior Championships was postponed to 2021, and the city of Zadar in Croatia is ready to welcome all the senior players to an unforgettable week of badminton.

2021 European Club Championships
Much like the Senior Championships, the European Club Championships were postponed. The Polish city of Bialystok once again welcomes an international badminton event, and we will crown the best club in Europe.

RSL BEC Summer School

The European U15 players missed out on the Summer School in 2020, but this summer they will get the opportunity to practice with other players from different countries when the RSL BEC Summer School will take place in Podcetrtek, Slovenia in July 2021.

The Olympic Games

Everyone was looking forward to the biggest sports event in the summer of 2020, but due to COVID-19, the Olympic Games were postponed to 2021. The long wait is almost over and in less than six months, we can see Europe’s biggest talents in Tokyo, Japan fighting for medals.

European U17 Championships
The talents will once again battle for medals. Current stars such as Anders Antonsen, Stefani Stoeva, Carolina Marin and Viktor Axelsen have won U17 titles, and now the question is: Who will be the new rising star?

Thomas and Uber Cup

Just as the Olympic Games, the Thomas and Uber Cups were postponed till 2021 as the pandemic made it difficult for countries to travel to Denmark, where the event was to be held. This will be a great event – not just for the players but for sure the fans.

World Championships 2021
The World Championships will be taking place in late November in Huelva, Spain. Last time Huleva saw an international event was back in 2018, where Carolina Marin won the European Championships in her home city. The reigning Olympic Champion will for sure be motivated to walk on court in the southern part of Spain before the Christmas holiday in 2021 begins.
