Luca Zhou and Matteo Massetti won their match earlier this morning and are now through to the quarterfinals after beating fourth seeds Alejandro De Pablo and Gabriel Fernandez from Spain. 

The Italians lost out to Spain in the team event, but this time they were ready and could take revenge. Zhou and Massetti won today’s match 16-21 21-12 21-15. 

- In the team event we did not play very well, but this time we came back and played much better, Massetti said. 

Pure happiness

It will be the first time at the European Juniors that Italy are represented in the quarterfinals. Asking Zhou and Massetti how it feels, they said.

- We are so, so happy!
