Two of the top European women’s singles faced each other on the second day of the #EMWTC20.

One of the most anticipated matches in the group stage of the 2020 European Men’s & Women’s Team Championships was the clash between Carolina Marin, Spain, and Kirsty Gilmour, Scotland, and the two top players did not disappoint the crowd.

Marin took the lead from the beginning of the first game but Gilmour closed in on the gap at 17-14, before Marin won four straight points winning the game 21-14.
