The back-to-back European champions are ready for the second round at the French Open.

Lately is has been more down than up for the Kolding and Huelva European mixed doubles champions, English Chris and Gabby Adcock. Today in Paris it was different.

Chris and Gabrielle Adcock were facing Pranaav Jerry Chopra and Reddy N. Sikki from India in the first round of French Open.

First meeting
In their first ever matchup the English pair won in straight games 21-13 21-18.

- I think we found our usual form in patches. I feel good in stages of the match. But I think the most important part is that we stood together, Gabrielle Adcock said.

- We knew it would be a fight and they are an underrated pair. They are tricky for a lot of pairs and they also did great last week, Chris Adcock added.

In the second round the English will face a Korean pair.
