The World Championships 2019 are in the books. These are the winners.

Five players won back-to-back titles. Three new world champions were crowned. The World Championships 2019 in Basel, Switzerland have come to an end, and these are the players that will always be remembered as the 2019 world champions:

Men’s singles:
Kento Momota (Japan) (1) – Anders Antonsen (Denmark) (5) 21-9 21-3
 
Women’s singles:
Nozomi Okuhara (Japan) (3) - Pusarla V. Sindhu (India) (5) 7-21 7-21

Men’s doubles:
Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan (Indonesia) (4) – Takuro Hoki/Yugo Kobayashi (Japan) (12) 25-23 9-21 21-15

Women’s doubles:
Mayu Matsumoto/Wakana Nagahara (Japan) (1) - Yuki Fukushima/Sayaka Hirota (Japan) (2) 21-11 20-22 23-21

Mixed doubles:
Zheng Siwei/Huang Yaqiong (China) (1) – Dechapol Puavaranukroh/Sapsiree Taerattanachai (Thailand) (4) 21-8 21-12
