The Badminton Europe Centre of Excellence has moved into a new location, and the players are ready for an even better badminton future.
On September 1st 2017 the first players joined the Badminton Europe Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Holbæk, Denmark. Two years later the new accommodation, training environment and setup are ready to welcome the athletes.

Eight courts, a swimming pool, a gym, a restaurant, 24 players from 17 countries, three coaches and new accommodation with private kitchen and bathroom - that is now the BEC CoE.
- The new facilities are amazing. It cannot be better for the players, with a new and modern accommodation and no distance between home, food and training. It looks like the best environment possible for professional badminton players, Luca Crippa, High Performance & Development Officer at Badminton Europe, said.
Milan Dratva, player at CoE agrees:
- It is a big change to our previous facility. Everyone has their own space with a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom, while until now all of us still live together in one building, Dratva said.
- The sports complex is amazing with all halls, huge gym, pools, running track and much more. It is really a perfect place to stay for an athlete. It has a great location too, surrounded by nature.
