Peter Tarcala, the President of Badminton Europe is a satisfied person following the outcomes of the board meeting on Sunday in Luxembourg.
This week’s Board of Directors meeting was the second of the President’s reign as president of the confederation and there was a lot of positive thinking following the session.
A productive day
On Sunday, following the end of the Commission Meetings in Luxembourg, the Board of Directors met for the boardroom meeting to discuss improvements, changes, and strengths.
Peter Tarcala was in good spirits after the meeting and revealed that there was a lot of things that came out of the meeting in a positive way.
- It was a very productive meeting and I am honestly very satisfied with the outcomes. As I said, we had the new members in our commissions, and we are coming with some new projects and new activities which have been approved now, Peter Tarcala said.
- It was a busy few days. We had two and a half days of Commission Meetings with the commission members, so it was quite interesting and nice, the President added.
The Slovakian also praised his new Commission members who have joined to give their ideas and inputs.
- I am very happy with the new Commission Members, they have all started very well, which has also been confirmed by the Commission Chairs that they are positively surprised that the members are really coming with good ideas and inputs.
Plans for improvement
The President believes that despite a successful week in terms of meetings, there are still some things to be discussed at the next Commission meetings session in Copenhagen in January.
- Of course, there is ongoing work and we will confirm some things in our next board meeting in September, he said.
- We will continue with the activities and meet with our commission members at our meeting in January in Copenhagen, the President continued.
