Today, Badminton Europe Confederation would like to wish the Portuguese Badminton Federation (Federação Portuguesa de Badminton), a happy 65th anniversary.

The federation over the years has played a pivotal part in Badminton Europe’s efforts to grow the sport in Europe.

Happy Birthday!

The federation turns 65 today, marking an incredible number of years in service, which began on 1 July 1954.

In the last year, the Portuguese federation has hosted BEC Commission Meetings, European Mixed Team Championship Qualifications, as well as coaching courses, both Level 1 and Level 2.

Not to mention the successful Portuguese International that is currently on the BEC Circuit, which Centre of Excellence player Felix Burestedt won in 2019.
