Ahead of the European Games which begins for badminton on Tuesday, here is a look at the Mixed Doubles competition in Belarus.
The top pairs are mostly dominated by Great Britain, while Germany, France, and Denmark also have a chance to compete for the medals!
A battle of the Brits!
The two top seeds for the Mixed Doubles category who are both from Great Britain and are both in fact inside the top ten of the World Rankings.
Chris/Gabrielle Adcock and Marcus Ellis/Lauren Smith will be competing against each other to fight for the top medals in Minsk at the European Games.
The two pairs went head to head at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in the final, which the Adcocks managed to take the Gold medal.
For Ellis/Smith though, they will surely feel like they have got a point to prove as they have the chance for possible revenge against their country competitors next week.
Will the French prove a point?
Thom Gicquel/Delphine Delrue will surely fancy their chances of a medal at this year’s European Games event in Minsk.
The French pair will be fresh from winning the Azerbaijan International against Mark Lamsfuss/Isabel Herttrich and have no reason not to have their tails up for this one.
The two are seeded number four at the Games but are in a tough group, competing against Russia’s Evgenji Dremin/Evgenia Dimova as well as the Irish siblings, Sam/Chloe Magee.
