The seeding for the European Club Championships has now been announced and we now know who the top four seeds are for the tournament in Luxembourg.

The Club Championships will get underway on Tuesday 2 July and will continue throughout the week to Saturday 6 July.

Primorye Vladivostok top the seeding

The club from Russia who has been represented this season by a number of Russian top players including Vladimir Ivanov, are the top seeds for the European Club Championships.

The club is seeded as number one due to their performances at the ECC over the past years, which the last time ended up with them picking up the Gold medal.

The second seeds for the tournament are BC Chambly Oise, who have won the Silver medal in the past three years.

Players such as Marcus Ellis, Lauren Smith and Beatriz Corrales have represented the French club over the course of this season, and we hope to see all of them in Luxembourg following the European Games

The last two seeded teams are taken by Spain and Italy

Recreativo les La Orden are 3/4 seeds for the European Club Championships. Players such as Pablo Abián who won the 2015 European Games, have played for the club this season and there is a chance that he could be playing for the team in July.

Also seeded in the top four is CALVI NETWORK BC Milano from Italy who will be looking to fight for a medal, and possibly one step more than last season, which was the Bronze medal.

The draw of the Group stage will be conducted on Thursday 20 June 2019 at 11:30 CEST and will be live on Badminton Europe’s Facebook and Instagram
