Ahead of the European Games, the seeding for the Men’s Doubles category has been released, for the multi-sport event which gets underway next month.

There is a number of high-profile names in the list and it is set up to be a great event with a lot of competition between the best players in Europe.

1 -  KIM ASTRUP/ANDERS SKAARUP RASMUSSEN – The pair are ranked as the top seeds for the tournament, despite a rocky patch for the Danes. They are the highest ranked Europeans in the World Rankings and will be looking for success in Minsk next month.

2 – MARCUS ELLIS/CHRIS LANGRIDGE – The English pair (representing Great Britain) have a history of winning medals at multi-sport events, following the Gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games as well as Bronze at the 20162 Olympic Games. The event in Minsk next month will be important for the pair to make sure that they pick up points during the Olympic Qualifying year for Tokyo 2020.

3 – VLADIMIR IVANOV/IVAN SOZONOV – The pair who won Silver at the last European Games in Baku, find themselves as the number three seeds for the tournament. The Russians will be wanting to go one better this time around and win the European Games, to add to their list of achievements.

4 – MARK LAMSFUSS/MARVIN SEIDEL- The German pair who are fourth seeds for the European Games will be looking to pick up points for the Olympic Games here and add to their success at the 2018 European Championships, with a medal in Minsk. The pair are regarded as one of the best Men’s Doubles pairs in Europe and are part of a very strong seeding list.
