Two titles in a row for the new pair?
A reasonably new pair on court is continuing to perform. Robin Tabeling/Selena Piek have now reached at least the last eight of every tournament that they have played in as a pair.
After winning their first tournament in Austria last week, they will be looking to go back to back tournaments, but first, they have a tough test against the Japanese deadly duo of Yuta Watanabe/Arisa Higashino, currently ranked number three in the world.
The Stoevas have to fight
Next are the Stoeva sisters who are playing on court two with a tough test ahead of them, playing against the number three seeds and number three in the world rankings, May Matsumoto/Wakana Nagahara from Japan.
The Bulgarian pair will have to play on their ‘A’ game if they want to challenge the Japanese pair who have won all of the previous four meetings.
