All three European pairs have not been able to win their semi-final match against their Asian opponents on Saturday. 

After Viktor Axelsen, Anders Anonsen, Mia Blichfeldt and Line Kjaersfeldt have reached the finals tomorrow, the Danish pair, Mathias Boe/Carsten Mogensen was not able to go through to the next round of the Barcelona Spain Masters. 

“It is never fun to lose” 

The current world rank number 20 lost against Lee Yang/Wang Chi-Lin from Chinese Taipei after two close games (16-21, 24-26).

- We are, of course, very disappointed. All in all it was an okay performance, but it is never fun to lose, Mathias Boe said after the match. 

Next to Boe/Mogensen, the Stoeva sisters as well as Marcus Ellis and Lauren Smith had to accept defeats in the semi-finals in Barcelona.
