Anders Antonsen (Denmark), who won the Indonesia Masters last week in the finals against world no.1 Kento Momota (Japan),  has climbed up the ranking list to occupy position no. 15 according to the BWF world ranking list published on Tuesday. 

The Dane became the first European player to win this tournament and got 9200 points, eventually moving five spots up on the men’s singles world ranking list. 

He is currently three positions away from his career-best result. 

Positions after Indonesia Masters

Denmark’s Jan O Jorgensen has moved one spot up to occupy position no. 22. He lost to Kento Momota in the first round of Indonesia Masters. Spain’s Carolina Marin, who underwent a surgery after getting injured during the finals against Saina Nehwall (India), has moved two spots up to occupy position no. 2 on the women’s singles world ranking list. 

Mathias Boe/Carsten Mogensen (Denmark) have climbed one spot up on the men’s doubles world ranking list. Ben Lane/Sean Vendy (England) have moved one spot up to occupy position no. 45.

Chloe Birch/Lauren Smith (England) have climbed five spots up, currently ranked no. 36 on the women’s doubles world ranking list. Ben Lane/Jessica Pugh (England) are standing on position no. 34 after moving up the mixed doubles ranking list for four positions.
