The players field was also very strong in all events, which resulted in an exciting competition between everyone’s favorite players.

Not enough

In the first game Intanon was indeed in a better form than Marin, which lead to a 21-9 win to Intanon. Marin found the answer to this play and even had a game point in the second game. However, a little bad luck combined with pressure from Intanon, led to a 20-22 loss in the second game for Marin.

Lee Chong Wei is back!

Another memorable moment during the Malaysia Masters happened during the prize ceremony of the men’s singles. Winner Son Wan Ho (South Korea) and runner-up Chen Long (China) received their price from Malaysia hero Lee Chong Wei!

Lee Chong Wei has been battling nose cancer for the last few months and has undergone treatments for this disease. Needless to say he has been out of the running ever since.

Lee Chong Wei might not be back in court, but it is good to see he is in better health!
