This week, Badminton Europe has released another BEC Podcast, which is available to view on Facebook and YouTube. It is also available to listen to on SoundCloud, Spotify, iTunes and Deezer.

This episode features the world number nine Women’s Doubles pair, Gabriela and Stefani Stoeva, who took their time to speak to Badminton Europe.

The sisters talk about how their performances have raised the bar and also revealed their personal goals for the European Games in Minsk, Belarus next year.

The revenge could be sweet

The Stoeva sisters are still looking for their revenge match against the Danish Women’s couple, Kamilla Rytter Juhl and Christinna Pedersen.

The Danes were the victors of the test at the European Championships against the Stoevas and what off the court matters for the Danes, the Bulgarians need to wait just a little longer.

- We want this match revenge, but we are very happy for them becoming pregnant, this the best thing that can happen.

- We hope that we can meet them in the future, that would be very good for us, if not then we wish them the luck for the future.

Something to look out for:

The Stoeva sisters also spoke about the European Games, their goals for the multi-sport event and aiming high.

- The European Games is another target for us, after our Gold in Baku. So, we hope that we can make our parents and family at home proud again.

- In Bulgaria, this European Games in Minsk is a very high tournament for all sports, we are for sure going for the Gold.
