Marin withdraws from French Open

The World Champion will not be in Paris to play the second BWF World Tour Super 750 tournament.

On Wednesday the defending Olympic champion and current World Champion, Carolina Marin told Badminton Europe that she “hoped to play in France next week”, but now it is official, that Marin will not take part of the French Open 2018.

Last week Carolina Marin suffered an injury in her left arm, and she is not ready to play in France.

The French Badminton Association published this statement on their Twitter account:
