Badminton Europe is delighted to introduce Charlotte Jörlöv, as a new member of the BEC office in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Jörlöv studied Real Estate at Malmö University but then decided on a different pathway and moved to a physiotherapy clinic, to work in the administration and finance department.

- After I had completed my study programme, I worked as an estate agent, but I decided afterwards that I preferred working with numbers, so I took on the role of Administration at a physiotherapy clinic.

Badminton is the sport for life!

The former estate agent has had badminton in her life since an early age and previously competed in the Swedish First Division.

Now, however, Jörlöv normally only plays badminton for the pure fun and enjoyment of the sport.

- I’ve been playing badminton since I was 10 years old. My first club was in my hometown where I had my father as a coach.

- I later moved to Malmo and started to play for Malmo Badmintonklubb. When I played the most, I played in the Swedish first division but now I mostly play for fun.

Part of a community

Jörlöv believes that the team at BEC is close together and she is looking forward to working in a community environment, after being integrated into it.

- Since I came to the office for the first time, I have noticed the closeness of the whole place and how everyone is with each other.

- I have had such a nice welcome and I can’t wait to get going and to meet more new people in the office.

- I’m really excited to start my employment at Badminton Europe. Being able to combine my interest in badminton and my work is something that I look forward to.
