Semifinalist in this year’s Eurasia Bulgarian Open Championship - Ksenia Polikarpova (Israel) has climbed one spot up on the women’s singles world ranking list to occupy position no. 64.

She shared her thoughts about her current ranking with Badminton Europe,

-I had three good results in July that gave me possibility to go up the ranking.

Ksenia has played three tournaments in three consecutive weeks in July – White Nights, Ghana International and Lagos International, with a quarterfinal in the first one and first places in Ghana and Lagos.

-I am so happy for the ranking and for the matches that I played, but my main goal is to go back to Top 50 soon. That’s why this is just the first step on the way to my goal.
