To complete our team, Badminton Europe (BEC) has opened a full time position as Marketing Manager to join its head office in Copenhagen, Denmark.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Marketing Manager – Badminton Europe

Badminton Europe is the Continental Confederation administering the sport of badminton in Europe. There are currently 6 full time employees backing up an elected Council of 10 officers and 51 Member Associations. The new employment reflects an increased activity level and the general growth of the sport.

The Marketing Managers key duties include:

• Setting up and implementing a structured approach to attracting new revenue
        o Presentations
        o Approach potential partners via letters/phone to set up meetings
        o Utilising current online assets

• Delivery to existing and potential partners
        o Ensuring delivery at events and activities
        o Hands on approach in setting up events and activities

• Reporting
        o Preparing reports to partners following events and activities to         showcase the exposure they received

• Regular liaison with relevant Directors

The above shall be delivered in close cooperation with the General Secretary and the Director for Marketing. As the marketable property lies within the areas of Sport, Development and Communication coordination is also required with the relevant Managers and Directors.

The Marketing Manager will report to the General Secretary.

The work will include some travelling and some flexibility in working hours will be required.

Remunerations will be 25.000 DKR/month+10% pension.

        o You can complete a process from start to finish
        o You have a structured  approach to your work
        o You might have an interest in badminton

• Skills and competences
        o You are comfortable working with Microsoft Office
        o Good command of written and spoken English

The successful candidate will have to re-locate to Copenhagen and will already have work permission in the EU to be considered for the job.

The preferred candidate should fit in well in a young environment.
