Adrian Dziolko is excited for the 2018 European Club Championships to start tomorrow. Not only because it will be hosted in his home country of Poland, but because he is playing for the hosting city’s club: UKS Hubal Białystok.

Last week, Dziolko participated in Spanish International 2018 and, this week, the Polish men’s singles prepares to play the 2018 European Club Championships.

- It is always good to play in Białystok! I have played for Hubal Białystok for the last 8 years and I have met many people and they will be a big support for us, Dziolko tells Badminton Europe.

The club championships begins tomorrow on Tuesday June 19th, and he sees this tournament as a test for all the training which is essentially leading up to his preparation for the 2018 World Championships in August.

Hunting a European medal
UKS Hubal Białystok have to play with the pressure of being on home court and on top of that they were drawn into Group 4 with the six-time champions from Russia.

- We have tough group. Primorye Vladivostok is a favorite to win the title and it will be a good match for our team to check our level.

- The most important game is against Recreativo Les La Orden. And we need to win if we want to think about a European medal, he stated.
