In two weeks the European Club Championships will start in Bialystok, Poland. The league champions of different nations will fight for the title of best club in Europe. French champion BC Chambly Oise is one of the favorites to do so.

Soraya De Visch Eijbergen (The Netherlands) is one of the players representing BC Chambly. Their goal for this European Club Championships is pretty simple:

- Doing everything we can to take the European title!

Unfortunately, not all of Chambly’s team players will be present at Bialystok due to other tournament obligations. Nevertheless this goal stays for Chambly.

Taking that first title

De Visch Eijbergen has already been European Club Champion before. Dutch club BC Duinwijck won the European Club Championships in 2011, which De Visch Eijbergen was part.

However, Chambly has participated for many years but never actually been the champion. Chambly hopes to be at the top stage of the podium this year.

De Visch Eijbergen hopes to contribute to this title in a different way.

- I want to be a better player and therefore I want to focus on what I have been training.
