Hans-Kristian Solberg Vittinghus (Denmark) has climbed three spots up on the BWF men’s singles world ranking list.

Currently standing on position no. 22, the Dane shared his thoughts with Badminton Europe.

-I still believe I can climb higher in the rankings but to be honest I am not so worried about it. As long as I’m safely within top 30 so that I’m certain of getting into the biggest events, I’m happy.

-I care more about my level of play. I want to still feel progress in my game and feel I can compete with the best. So that’s what I am focused on, Vittinghus tells Badminton Europe.

Lucas Corvee (France) has moved one spot up to occupy position no. 42. Vladimir Malkov (Russia) has entered into the top 50.

Jan O Jorgensen (Denmark) is slowly moving up, having climbed three spots up and currently occupying position no. 52. England’s Toby Penty is no. 57 after moving up for one position.

Mia Blichfeldt (Denmark) is world no. 17 on the women’s singles world ranking list as she moved one spot up. Evgeniya Kosetskaya (Russia) entered into the top 20. Line Kjaersfeldt (Denmark) climbed one position up, occupying position no. 28.
