Women's Doubles: The Stoeva Sisters

Europe’s second highest ranked Women’s Doubles pair, Gabriela and Stefani Stoeva are sitting at a number 12 in the current BWF World Rankings, and they aren’t showing any sign of slowing down. 

The sister pair have already smashed their way through other tournaments this year, after reaching the Final in the Swiss Open and Semi Finals in the Yonex German Open 2018. 

Next week, they will be looking to climb the table as they enter the Orléans Masters 2018 as first seeds in the Women’s Doubles event.

- Actually we are very excited to take part of Orléans Master next week ... we have been playing this tournament once when was international challenge, says Stefani.

Preparing for the European Championships

This year, the European Championships will take place from 23 - 29 April in Huelva, Spain. Starting just three weeks after the Orléans Masters, this tournament is a great platform to get some last-minute competition on the international stage before the annual European Championships begin.

- It be for us tough challenge before the European championship so we will do our best as always and hoping for positive results, says Stefani.
