Boe/Mogensen on top

The Badminton World Federation (BWF) announced the latest world rankings on November 8 and with Denmark's Mathias Boe and Carsten Mogensen (pictured) there is a pair from Europe on the top of the men's doubles category. The current European Champions grabbed the top spot on the BWF world rankings already last week.

Jan Ø. Jørgensen is the new European number one shuttler in the men's singles. The 24-year old from Denmark has overtaken his countryman Peter Gade, who is number 12. But the five-time European Champion retired at the French Open two weeks ago.

Germany's Juliane Schenk got her best career's ranking by grabbing the fourth spot on the world rankings. European Champion Tine Baun is number 7.
