Our period of practicing in Denmark is finished and we can both say that we have been very satisfied with the trainings, the players and the coaches in Odense. Now we are proceeding with the training back at home and we can notice the differences in our badminton.

We both got many new ideas for the trainings – new combinations for 'one-against-one' or 'two-against-one' exercises, ideas regarding the multi-feeding and the footwork. We already implemented those exercises in the trainings at home and it has been going very well since.

Our conditions for staying in Odense were very good - the hall was only 5 minutes walking distance and the hospitality and the helpfulness of the home players were great as well.

The practice in Odense was very well structured and in the beginning of every training session we got clear information on what we are going to do and what to focus on during the following session. Our focus was mainly on technical aspects of the game for which we both felt that it was the exact thing we needed. Coaches Lennart Engler and Jacob Toft were always beside us, correcting our mistakes, and encouraging us to think with our own heads when on the court. We have been training with very good sparing partners.

We would recommend BE Certified Training Centre in Odense to everyone who wish to improve his/her badminton level, wish to train with the players from all over the Europe and work with the very good coaches. I am sure this was not our last time here in Odense and we will return to practice here as soon as possible.

Report by Kaja Stankovic in Mitja Semrov (both SLO)

Kaja: “I feel my footwork is much faster and more economical, I improved a few strokes and I really have a good feeling on the court. The tournaments are starting soon and I am really looking forward to be using the new things I’ve learned in Odense.”

Mitja: “When I came home from Odense I was pretty tired so I took a few days off to recover. I am very satisfied with the trainings back in Odense - I feel very fast on the court now and my footwork improved a lot. I am now more aware off the mistakes that I have been doing on the court and I think I’ve already correct some of it.”
