The 2013 European Mixed Team Championships were allocated to Russia. The event will take place from 12 to 17 February 2013 in the city of Ramenskoe, which is located in the Moscow region. The “Borisoglebsky” arena can take up to 2.500 spectators.

“We are very pleased that the National Badminton Federation of Russia will organise the 2013 European Mixed Team Championships. At a recent visit in Moscow of the Badminton Europe President, Poul-Erik Høyer, a meeting with the Minister of Sport of Russia made it clear that Russia had the ambition to organise major events”, said Brian Agerbak, General Secretary of BEC.

“We know the venue in the Moscow Region of Ramenskoe from the 2008 European Club Championships and it is very suitable for one of our major events. The cooperation between Badminton Europe and the National Badminton Federation of Russia is excellent and will no doubt be strengthened with the cooperation on this event. “
